To all girls and women out there, this diet is not realistic and can be very dangerous as it was indicated above, being underweight can lead to many negative effects such as, prone to infection, comprised immune system, Low muscle mass, Hair loss, Irregular hormone regulation, Osteoporosis, Anemia, Pregnancy complications (or inability to get pregnant), Menstrual irregularities.

Just do not do it.

If you are overweight and you want to lose weight, I would recommend not going overboard take your time and do it at your own pace.

In this article, I am going to give you 6 tips to kick-start your weight loss journey. It does not matter if you are 1 or 30 pounds overweight; if you want to start your weight loss journey these tips they will help you to achieve just that.

Decrease sugar intake

I remember when I lost 10 pounds in one month by just stopping drinking coke if you can cut back on sweetened beverage like (coke, soda coffee etc.) and white bread products like bread, buns, and doughnuts you could lose weight much faster.

Focus on eating protein throughout the day

In every meal you eat, you should focus on eating protein throughout the day. Dietary protein causes a smaller increase in blood insulin than carbohydrates.  A surge in insulin after simple carbohydrate intake can cause a drop in blood sugar that triggers cravings and overeating, a cycle not usually seen after protein intake.

This does not mean you should use protein supplements or eliminate all carbs, either; instead, eat a palm-size portion each of a protein and a carb food, such as a chicken thigh with a half cup of wild rice. Fill the rest of your plate with vegetables.
